This is a very interesting piece, and the lights work great, and it came on time, however there is one major flaw that makes me give this item only one star.The water-powered motor that energizes the lights is loud, insanely loud in fact, and although I love looking at the lights and the effect of showering in the dark is awesome, the sound is just so intense that i cannot stand to take an actual shower.The stronger the water pressure pumped through it the louder it gets, so it's only tolerable on such a low setting that it cannot do anything in terms of cleaning the body.I am going to attempt to return this shower head for another in hopes that the one I received was simply defective, but if this is not the case then this product is definitely not worth the purchase.
I got this showerhead as a gift to myself for our new apartment. It is a lot brighter than I expected it to be. I expected it would only be bright enough to change the color of the water, when it is actually bright enough to take a shower in the dark (so long as you don't turn the water off before you get out of the tub, lol).A few things to mention:1) it did not look like the one pictured. It actually looked like this one: Temperature controlled Color Changing LED hand showerhead2) you will need to buy a hose to go with it if you don't already have one3) other reviewers said that it was loud, although I can't hear it at all. It doesn't make any extra noise that I can tell.4) it does not light up all of the colors at once like in the picture, that is there to show you a demo of the colors it has. It changes colors smoothly every 2 seconds or so.5) it will decrease your water pressure slightly, but that may be as much due to the hose as the showerhead itself. However, if you have strong water pressure like I do, it isn't anything to fret about.All in all, I absolutely adore it. I'm very glad I bought it, and have completely enjoyed it ever since I put it up. The only reason it got 4 stars from me instead of 5 is because of the difference in appearance. It simply does not look like the picture. In function though, I am VERY happy with it.
We attached this chrome shower head to the hose of a hand-held shower, but it looks like it will work fine on a regular shower as well. It came with a clear plastic washer. It changes colors one at a time (unlike in the picture), for some reason lingering much longer on red than any other. The whole cycle of colors takes maybe 20 seconds. The water pressure is much softer than the shower head it replaced, and not adjustable (as the other was). It is wonderful for relaxing but would not be good for rinsing shampoo quickly from your hair.We used it to motivate our kids to use the shower near their room, rather than the bigger one in the master bedroom. They love the lights and the gentleness, and have no desire (so far) to switch back to our bigger, but boring one.
What a waste! This shower head has 6 LEDs on it. Two reds, two blues, and two greens. Within two weeks both of the blue LEDs had blown out. Shortly afterward the green bulbs blew out.In addition to the lights crapping out, the water pressure was pathetic!! Water barely makes it's way out.I got this for my roommate as a birthday gift. MAJOR disappointment. Don't buy!
I got inspired to write a review after reading a very vague review by LINDA, which basically says it sucks.The product is really cool!prosChrome, and light up, and no batteriesconsDoes not include shower hose like i was under impression it did, no biggie.I whirs, i guess its generating power.After shower is off the head will leak for 10 minutes afterward.its still really cool and I love it, and I think will last long time
We put it in our outdoor shower at the beach. Everyone loves it, especially at night.
I'll start by saying that this works the way it says it will; just unscrew the old showerhead, screw this one on and the lights come on with water power. I did have to go buy a shower hose (the cheapest ones were like $7 at WalMart, but I shelled out $25 for the prettiest one) but that was my only setback. The water pressure doesn't seem affected at all and it doesn't make any noise. Also of note is that the first time I turned the shower on, the lights didn't come on at all, despite a full stream of water coming out. However, they came on instantly the next time and have been fine since. I don't know.Now for the superficial complaint. The entire reason I bought this thing was that it's advertised as having *Rainbow* lights, and that is a lie. There are only three colors (red, blue, and green) that come on and off in rotation and sometimes overlap; when the red and blue overlap for that split second, it kind of makes a sort of purplish color, but not really. So the lights do not at all create a rainbow, but do still look neat and it works just fine as the practical cleaning device it is.
I bought this for my seven year old Granddaughter who hates to take showers. This makes showering fun for her now!!
love it! awesome shower experience! i wish it was brighter, but who cares!? it rainbow led shower head! i only think it would be cool if u could put diffeent settings. but this is totally awesome product! its spa-like appeal makes shoer relaxing. enjoy by urself, with husband/bf or even childeren will loive taking showers! i had to fight with my 3 yr old nephew just to get in the tub now he wants to by himself! i lov this product
