I love this little trimmer. I cannot use the regular trimmers due to physical limitations but wanted to help my son with the yard. This rolling one lets me do that. It is lightweight and the wheels make it a snap to use. I have not used the edger yet but the weed eater part is wonderful.

as others have described, the lithium battery lasts a nice long time. so does the nonstring string. and, i like the training wheels.however, there is much need for improvement:1. i would like the pole to telescope further in order to have more settings. the wheels don't have enough settings either. together, it's ergonomically uncomfortable to use. but i am a short female with arthritis in my hands. and it still beats ALL the others, comfort-wise.2. i wish you had an option to use a spool of weedwacker plastic string. instead, you only get these fat, flat, tapered pieces of plastic, maybe 3" long. they don't work as well as the string trimmers. to me, it's like using a butter knife instead of a steak knife. the plastic piece doesn't break off, so i wonder why GARDENA gives you so many extra plastic "strings."still, i'm glad i have it cuz it still beats clippers....

COMPARED TO WHAT'S ON THE MARKET, THIS PRODUCT IS A GOOD START: VERY LIGHT WEIGHT, CONVENIENT TELESCOPING HANDLE , VERSATILE TRIMMING ANGLES, GREAT BATTERY. I HAVE HAD BACK PROBLEMS AND THIS IS THE FIRST TRIMMER THAT I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO USE.HOWEVER, THE BIG ATTRACTION FOR ME WERE THE WHEELS SINCE I COULDN'T SUPPORT A TRIMMER WITH JUST MY ARMS. UNFORTUNATELY, THE WHEELS ARE MY BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT. THEY ARE TOO NARROW , MAKING IT DIFFICULT KEEPING THE TRIMMER BALANCED ON THE GROUND. ALSO, A TYPICAL LAWN HAS IT'S LUMPS AND BUMPS. THESE WHEELS ARE MADE FOR GOLF COURSES-SMOOTH AND PERFECT GROUNDS! THE WHEELS ARE ALL PLASTIC AND PRETTY MUCH A WASTE OF TIME:(ALSO, THE CLAMP THAT SECURES THE TELESCOPING HANDLE IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO UNDO WHEN ADJUSTMENTS NEED TO BE MADE. I HAVE TO CALL MY HUSBAND TO DEAL WITH IT.PLEASE, GARDENA, MAKE SOME CORRECTIONS THAT YOU'RE HEARING ABOUT FROM YOUR CUSTOMERS .
