   This towel rack was fine for about a year and a half, then we noticed that any towel we hung on it would stink of mildew. At first I thought it was the towels just needing a wash, but even fresh towel would stink after just a couple days. Upon closer inspection we noticed little spots of mold growing in the rack.    The shelves are beautiful. But, the screws must be set into the wall at exactly the right distance. The tolerance is less than 1/16". I ended up enlarging the screw head opening on the back of the shelf and using Gorilla glue to set the anchors exactly in place as the shelf was being mounted. It was worth it.
