Nordic Pure air filters have an actual size that is a fraction of an inch smaller than the standard size (also known as "nominal size"). The size printed on your air filter may NOT be the Actual Size. With the 4" and 5" air filters there is a wider variance between the nominal size and actual size for the different manufacturers. I'm very pleased with my choice of filter. Particulate dust seems lessened according to my wife. Consumer air filters do not appear to be required to list their MERV rating, which makes selection difficult. Additionally, the cost of these filters, in my estimation, is about one-third of a similar consumer filter.

These filters are great. The probably one of the best on the market for the price, and effectiveness. I have worked in the HVAC-R (heating and air) world for the last ten years, and if you want a good pleated disposable filter...this it is.

I was in the market to purchase some high-quality filters for the forced-air blower in my HVAC unit. I was hoping to find an "off brand" that provided high quality without the huge price tag of filters from 3M Filtrete.These definitely fit the bill. I don't have severe allergies, so I can't speak to whether or not they would help someone that is very sensitive to those sorts of things. I can say that they appear very well-made.I appreciated the indicator on the side that tells you which direction the air should be blowing through it.The filters appear to be well worth the money that Nordic Pure is charging. They shipped quickly and were packaged well.I am very pleased with my purchase and will be continuing to use these from now on.

These filters are a high quality, less expensive option. I wish I would have found them earlier, I could have been saving a lot of money. These are great if you have bad allergies.

We have allergies, and these take care of them. They also fit better than the other more popular brand, and cost less. I would buy them again.

I have switched from 3M which is very pricey. 3M is the only company that market its MPR rating rather than MERV as the standard. You can check the pricing.MPR1000 = MERV11MPR rating with the higher number due to zeros is overrated.

Furnace filters are enough to make you crazy. I hate buying the super expensive ones as they are a complete tip off and all hype. Then, I hate buying the cheapies too as you can see right through them. These were a great price for a good filter. Well made. I do not notice any more or less dust in the house after using these.
