This lamp is great! Throws great light for two rockers we have adjacent to a corner of the room. Easy to assemble and nice sleek look!

I returned it because the most important thing about a light - the lighting in puts off - was not nice in my room. It is a downward light, so it is really bright underneath the shade, but it does not put off enough light around the room. And the light it does put off is very bright white because the inside part of the shade is very bright white (it doesn't seem to matter the type of bulb, because I tried several).
